Strategic Planning
For over a decade, Cormier Associates has
been helping communities and organizations plan their futures using
a planning technique called Future Search.
Future Search is a proven participatory planning
process that makes it possible to reach consensus among diverse
viewpoints by creating new ways of talking, listening, and coming
to agreement on an issue, a vision, or a plan. Based on principles
that embrace diversity of ideas and the ability to dialogue, Future
Search has been used successfully throughout the world - in businesses,
communities, healthcare, colleges, non profits and the government
- for revitalizing spirit and creating social, technical, and economic
breakthroughs that typically are not possible to achieve with traditional
planning methods.
In
addition to Future Search, we also use a variety of planning methods
that offer the economy and creativity that come from large group
interventions. These include Open Space and Fast Cycle Change, as
well as customized options that tailor the principles of large group
design with our expertise in facilitating these types of meetings.
