Managing conflict for productivity and innovation

The most creative and functional groups are diverse; at the same time, differences often create conflict. This assessment-based training focuses on awareness of and skill building for conflict resolution, collaboration and negotiation. Individuals learn what behaviors they use in conflict situations and practice new ways to handle them.

Leading high-performing teams
Two-day, assessment-based, experiential training focusing on team leadership and coaching. Program utilizes the Management and Leadership Profile, a 360° degree feedback assessment which focuses on eight dimensions of leadership and management behavior, including goal setting and planning, task accomplishment, providing feedback, exercising control, and individual and team relationships. Competency areas addressed include transformational leadership, change, risk-taking, relationship building, motivation and strategic thinking, and teamwork.

Consulting skills for human resource managers
Three-part training program designed to help professionals move from a more traditional model of human resource management to a more consultative role suited to current business needs. Targeted areas include facilitation, problem solving, team design, process improvement and conflict management. Program also includes action learning with real-time coaching and action planning.

Being an effective team member
One-day workshop overviews the characteristics of high-performing teams and the skills team members need. Dynamics, behaviors, and practice in listening and giving feedback are covered.

Problem-solving tools and techniques
One-day workshop focuses on problem identification, root cause analysis and process mapping, and other critical problem-solving techniques.

Team facilitation skills
Two-part training program reviews key facilitation skills and practices and provides one on one coaching in real-time facilitation settings.

Situational leadership
Understanding how to manage and lead a variety of individuals from learners to high performers. Based on the model developed by Hersey and Blanchard, workshop shows how to assess the leadership style employees need to develop competency and job commitment. Case studies and videotaped situations are used.

Workstyles- understanding personality and its impact on others
Using the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), this workshop helps individuals understand how personality characteristics impact their interactions with others. How to work constructively with differences to improve problem solving and decision making.
